Sam Hamidi

Being born and growing up in Tehran, Iran, he became increasingly aware of the importance of creating resilient and safe cities, especially for a country vulnerable to climate change and with complex social challenges. This motivated him to move to Europe and pursue a related master’s degree. He studied for his master at Politecnico di Milano in Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design and done an internship in Copenhagen at Sangberg Architects before moving to Rotterdam to work at KAW architecten where he has been introduced more in depth to Dutch approach in design and its unique context. However, this comparison with his home country continues to fuel his passion and growing curiosity in sustainability related topics both socially and ecologically, on an architectural and urban scale.
