To shape the future development of the Zwitsal terrain, the municipality of Apeldoorn tasked JDWA with making Development perspective Zwitsal 2021.
Over the past 10 years, the identity of the Zwitsal terrain has been defined by a wide range of sectoral plans, studies, visions and ambitions. In the development perspective the different aspects of these plans and initiatives are brought together to form the basis for frameworks and scenario’s that can give an insight in future use or building possibilities. Firstly the frameworks and structures on a larger scale and analyzed to define what is applicable on the site. Based on these criteria we define the starting points of the development of the terrain.
These frameworks and criteria are applied to three possible future scenario’s. They show the possibilities on the terrain, and serve as inspiration, and a basis for decision making for current and future development. It will help focus and give direction to investors and developers interested in the Zwitsal and who share the formulated ambitions.
