Het Dorp (The Village) in Arnhem was an iconic care & housing concept from the sixties, for people with mental and physical disabilities. Today the layout of Het Dorp is obsolete, the needs and demands of the clients living here have altered. In 2009 the planning of the redevelopment of this area started. Under the name “Project 3Noord” involved parties work together to allow the inhabitants to once again fully contribute to the society of today.
