We couldn’t be more proud of our School 7 Library project in Den Helder, which was featured just two days ago in the local de Volkskrant. This project involved the transformation and expansion of an existing school building into a vibrant “third space”; a unique social hub housing a library, theater, and café.
In 2018, School 7 was honored as the “Best Library in the World”, becoming not only a local landmark but also a symbol of Den Helder’s urban transformation and a source of civic pride.
We remain committed to the growing focus on minimal (or zero) demolition and maximum renovation, driven by ecological, economic, and cultural values.
Thanks to all of our collaborators: Edzo Bindels, Anita Ruder, Marcel van der Veer, Helder Vastgoed BV (woningstichting Den Helder), and Aannemingsbedrijf Dozy B.V.
